GCAA - Gauteng Combined Accommodation Associations

This website is dedicated to making the search for accommodation in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Midrand, Soweto or any other Gauteng location easier. And whether you are a first time tourist to South Africa or a local business traveler, our website is guaranteed to find you the perfect accommodation solution.

Here in the smallest of South Africa's provinces, the economic powerhouse of the southern African region, you'll discover some of Africa's greatest cities. From the vibrancy of Soweto through pulsating Johannesburg (affectionately known as Jozi), to the diplomatic capital of Tshwane/Pretoria, Gauteng truly represents the rainbow nation with a cosmopolitan mix of African, European and eastern cultures. Gauteng leads the way in business with its sophisticated infrastructure offering world-class conference and convention centres.

Most visitors arrive at O R Tambo International Airport situated in Ekurhuleni, on the east side of Gauteng, providing easy access to both Johannesburg and Tshwane. Although the emphasis is on business and industry, Gauteng has much to offer the tourist and visitors will find that there’s still gold & diamonds waiting to be discovered by adventure seekers, historians, archaeologists and nature-lovers alike. Discover the "Rainbow Nation's" sophisticated pleasures of excellent eateries, fascinating architectures, wondrous indigenous art and energetic clubs.
